First Adopter

Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 4, 2026

First Adopter ("we") is a service operated from India that finds public posts from people who may want a product, and turns them into a report. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

Public posts

Reports contain links to, and short quotes from, posts that people made publicly on sites like Reddit, Hacker News and Indie Hackers. We do not collect private messages, email addresses or contact details of the people who wrote those posts, and we do not show their usernames in reports.

How we use it

To run the service: sign-in, generating and delivering reports, preventing abuse, answering messages, and improving the product. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it

We use these providers to run the service: Cloudflare (hosting and database), OpenAI (analysing text to write reports), Serper (web search), Resend (email delivery) and Google Analytics (usage statistics). They process data on our behalf under their own terms.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and Google Analytics cookies on our public pages.

Report links

Each report has a private, hard-to-guess link and is hidden from search engines. Anyone you share the link with can view it.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account and all your reports at any time from your account page, or ask us through the contact page.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

First Adopter is not for anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell signed-in users about significant changes by email.
